Leadership still asks what the numbers mean
Information is available, but the decision, implication, and next action are not clear.
LegalOpsKPIs helps legal departments improve reporting, operating models, processes, technology, and data so leaders can make better decisions and teams can execute more consistently. We work with clients to clarify priorities, simplify how information moves, and build practical systems that support measurable improvement.
Most legal departments already have reports, systems, and data. The challenge is getting them to work together. Definitions vary, ownership is unclear, manual steps persist, and leadership still struggles to see what requires attention.
More reporting creates more noise. The work is to decide what matters, make the data trustworthy, and connect it to action.
Information is available, but the decision, implication, and next action are not clear.
The business wants insight into value, risk, speed, cost, and service, not a longer activity list.
Accruals, invoices, budgets, and forecasts take weeks to align because definitions and sources differ.
Measures accumulated without a clear connection to a business priority or management question.
Adoption, workflow fit, data quality, or user behavior is limiting the return on the investment.
One or two people rebuild the same analysis each month and carry critical process knowledge in their heads.
The legal function wants to operate strategically but has no common performance language.
Requests arrive through different channels, priorities keep shifting, and the team lacks a reliable view of volume, backlog, capacity, and where resources should be allocated.
Every engagement is scoped to the problem at hand. The work usually follows four stages, with the depth of each stage adjusted to the team's needs.
Clarify the decisions leadership needs to make, inventory current reports, and assess the reality of the data, process, technology, and ownership model.
Prioritize the KPI framework, reporting architecture, definitions, audiences, narrative, and governance required to answer those decisions.
Improve source data and workflows, configure or prototype reporting, and coordinate the right internal, InfiniGlobe, or client-approved technical resources.
Train owners, establish review and governance routines, track adoption, and refine the approach as priorities and maturity evolve.
Mori leads the performance strategy, stakeholder alignment, KPI framework, and executive-reporting work. Depending on scope, LegalOpsKPIs and InfiniGlobe team members may support research, workshop design, project coordination, analytics, process improvement, technology configuration, integration, and adoption. The proposed team, responsibilities, and contracting entity are identified before work begins.
Each engagement is scoped around the decisions and operating problems that matter most. The work can focus on one area or connect several areas when the issues are interdependent.
Outside counsel spend, accruals, budgets, forecast accuracy, matter economics, rates, fee arrangements, and the working relationship with Finance.
Demand, intake, cycle time, capacity, backlog, service levels, matter mix, insourcing, and resource allocation.
Measures that help leadership understand exposure, responsiveness, prevention, business impact, and the trade-offs behind legal decisions.
Adoption, process impact, time saved, quality, risk controls, user behavior, cost, and whether tools are improving the work that matters.
Panel performance, invoice quality, budget adherence, timeliness, outcomes, diversity, relationship health, and value beyond rates.
Board-ready or leadership-ready views that connect legal performance to business priorities rather than simply displaying activity.
NetApp Legal needed more reliable access to budgeting and spend information, with less manual work. In a published InfiniGlobe engagement, the team redesigned budgeting, spend reporting, e-billing, and access to management information.
Published results included a 67% reduction in reporting resources, invoice approval time reduced from 65 days to 21 days, and more than 50% less manual effort in e-billing.
The process moved from three FTEs working in parallel to one FTE, with recurring reports generated consistently and ad hoc information available more quickly.
Approval time improved from 65 days to 21 days, alongside a reduction of more than 50% in e-billing manual effort.
“This redesign helped us run our legal department like a business.”
Frameworks are paired with operating experience so the work can move from executive questions through design and implementation support.
