I've browsed this through over the weekend and here's why you should consider buying it too ⤵️ 👩‍💻Background: I've studied operations management at uni. This means basic operational metrics and concepts, like throughput time, cycle time and line balancing are very familiar to me. It comes as no surprise that this book has some legal-specific metrics that I could also call something else in traditional ops management lingo. BUT. If you do not have a degree in this field, this book brings you plenty more than the basics – put in a legal context! Instead of explaining specifically how for example throughput time can be utilized in a legal ops context, you can eg. just have a read about MAA (read the book if you want to know what it is 😉). 📖 The layout of each spread on each metric is well thought out and repeats itself. If you are struggling with a specific issue, you can start browsing and easily comparing various metrics to establish which could help you track and collect data on the situation.
