Legal Operations KPIs in Brazil: the development of such an important topic within legal departments in our country!
And we thought about the Brazil community because initially this book and this concept applied to the United States, Germany, Mexico, and some other countries. But our scenario — Brazil — is very different. […] There is no such map or KPI book. The idea is to start writing things in this chapter that are relevant to our scenario, so that someone in a legal department today facing the challenge of implementing KPIs can say: I'm just getting started, I don't know where to begin. And then have this material, this forum, and a lot of information available.
Many organizations struggle not with the need for data but with knowing which questions to ask; success lies in benchmarking, consulting experts, and engaging in forums like LegalOpsKPIs.com, where you can share questions and receive crucial answers.
Being part of Legal KPIs is a valuable opportunity to integrate into a community committed to innovation in legal management, where mutual learning is the main driver. In a context where collaboration and standardization are increasingly relevant, sharing methodologies and standards to demonstrate our management through clear and comparable metrics is essential to professionalize legal work and consolidate our position as a strategic actor within organizations.
Thank you very much for the wonderful meeting we had past January 13th. Thank you, Elizabeth and Mori, for the stories you told, which highlighted the importance of understanding the company's objective. Once that is understood, it is essential to search for data honestly and openly, without bias, so that the best decision can be made and the corresponding KPIs can be established. I am looking forward for another meeting.
