About This Chapter 

In the US Northeast Chapter, we focus on:

• Legal KPIs in Practice:  Build clarity around core legal and law firm metrics, how they are defined, and how they are used in real operational and leadership decisions.
• Measuring AI Impact:  Explore how firms and legal teams are thinking about AI adoption, including how to capture savings, efficiency gains, and changes in capacity through meaningful metrics.
• Metrics That Evolve: Discuss which existing KPIs apply to AI-enabled work, which need adjustment, and which new measures may be required as AI use expands.
• Ongoing, Peer-Led Discussion: The chapter is designed as a continuing conversation, allowing topics to deepen over time and reflect real-world adoption challenges.
