US Northeast chapter
A closed member discussion on AI savings, adoption, workflow impact, and practical legal KPI measurement.
The US Northeast Chapter continued its working group series with a discussion on AI-related KPI priorities and practical ways to measure value.
The session focused on AI savings, adoption and usage metrics, baseline and before/after measurement, AI use cases within legal workflows, change management, resourcing, and connecting AI activity to meaningful legal and business outcomes.
A key theme was that AI measurement does not need to be perfectly precise to be useful. The group discussed how legal teams can move beyond shadow billing and build metrics that better reflect value, speed, practical outcomes, and real adoption in day-to-day legal work.
