AI, Data, Business Skills, and Emerging Legal Career Paths
Led by Mori Kabiri, author of Legal Operations KPIs and Law Firm KPIs, this online guest lecture for Ulster University’s School of Law in Northern Ireland, will explore how AI is changing legal practice and the skills future legal professionals need.
Drawing on practical experience with corporate legal departments and law firms, Mori will discuss how AI, legal technology, data, KPIs and Legal Operations are reshaping the way legal work is delivered, managed and measured. The session will connect these developments with legal career paths, business awareness and the continuing importance of professional judgment.
The lecture is designed for third-year Law & Technology students, with Master’s and other relevant students also invited. The discussion will be introductory and practical, with real-world examples and guidance on preparing for a changing legal profession.
Tuesday, 20 October 2026, 13:30–14:30 BST (UK). The session will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams, with approximately 45 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes of questions and discussion.
